Traction is a coaching-led, community-driven brand built on the belief that the right equipment should help players improve naturally, build confidence, and stay on court longer. By focusing on performance fundamentals—not excess—we create thoughtfully designed gear that players can trust as they progress. Our mission is to support the growth of racket sports across Asia, starting with India.

Traction was created by a professional tennis and padel coach whose work happens where it matters most—on court. Our founder, Rohan Puri, is a full-time coach and aspiring professional player who trains and competes across Asia. This constant exposure to different playing styles, levels, and court conditions directly shapes how Traction rackets are designed, tested, and refined.

Every Traction racket is developed through direct player feedback and refined repeatedly before reaching production. Comfort, control, and long-term playability are prioritised at every stage—where feel, predictability, and joint-friendliness matter more than trends.
